Not sure about the WG. But, on my 2010 FatBob, I went from the stock risers (which I think are right around 5") to a 7" rise on a set of Street Slammers. It wasn't the cables that limited me, but the front brake line.

I put 11" or 9" Zbars with stock risers (i forget which one I can check if you need the information but you can at least go 9" give you a total of 14" with stock cables I had to undo the brake cable under the middle of the triple tree, but thats no big deal,

The first owner of my '03 Wide Glide had put 6" risers that made the front brake line fit kind of wierd so I replaced the OEM line with stainless braid (bleeding was a chore). The clutch line is next and I have to install a 68" cable.
