Just an idea, when I cut my fender and struts, I re-routed the wiring between the the inside of the strut and the outside of the fender along the inside of the shallow slot of the strut. My wires don't (of course yours is different) don't go nowhere near the tire in the fender.

that's not a bad idea at all, but i stil need to get wires to my brake light (you dont have one dead center on your fender)
i think the channels (or guides or wtf ever they're called) that HD sells will do the trick
When I had sigs on my struts I removed the inner strut bracket and hammered the OEM bulge flat and used ductape to hold my wires down snug about 3 inches past the rear of the bracket. then I removed sigs alltogether with a HD docking hardware kit. Now I have tons of clearance. My bike is only lowered when my 265lb **** is installed upon seat!
You will have to either use the brackets that feed wires out the rear, (08 and newer SB)hammer the older style brackets bulge flat like I said, or relocate sigs. Plenty of options.
Exact same setup, no problems in 10,000 miles. I ride solo most of the time as well but I like the smaller ladies, heaviest one I've had on it was maybe 125lbs, still no problems even 2 up.
