what system do you have, what does it do[ bank angle sensor etc.] on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate it? lookins at HD smart system. thanks ric

 

Digital Guard Dog. Disables the starter if the FOB isn't present.

 

I have the stock alarm with the optional siren and like it really well... ride up, park, turn the ignition off, walk away and hear the chirp-chirp. I love it.

 

9mm. If they want it bad enough that are going to take it, in the back of a van or trailer. Just want to make sure I maim one on the way out.

Chance of someone getting on your bike and riding away with it are slim. Ignition, hub locks, fork locks etc....

If it going to be stolen, its going into a truck, van, on a trailer etc. Beeping and fobs dont stop this.

Gap insurance is good security I guess.

 

I also have the stock HD alarm with siren. I feel very good about it. If the bike is stood up and becomes level the siren goes off. Like someone mentioned, if someone is going to steal your bike they are going to take it even with the most sofisticated alarm. Nothing really works better than locking your forks. Just because i have an alarm i still lock the forks if i am away from the bike for some time.
