I'd have to agree. I would pay 10k and not a penny more. Give them a serious offer of 9K and leave your phone number. Chances are they will call to try to work something out. A customized skoot is not as easy a sell as you would think. It takes just the right person who likes the mods. My two cents (probably worth 1-1/2 in this economy)
10K and no more. Offer 9K and haggle from there. As most of said here, a custom bike is not an easy sale, if you are serious the dealer is crazy not to make a sale, without trying to bend you over a barrell. GOOD LUCK!!!
Thanks for all the good advise fellas!! Guess gonna ride by the dealer offer the $9k my # and take a walk, to another dealer where they got a 09 xbones for 15K and look at it! haha
Nice bike, like everyone else said, offer them $9K and see what happens. Then when they call you, buy it, and then throw away that hideous rear fender and sissy bar, and throw a Street Bob fender on there. Then it will be one sweet bike!
If you could get it for around 10-11 and it's your style, I would jump all over it. Just the wheels and primary would tear up $3K. Awesome looking bike.

Thanks
05, dyna WG, not sure the milage(i know.... needed to remember that)
....Air susp, PM controls(hand and foot) comes with 2 other seats, and another set of 12" apes.
im pretty sure from the pics yall can see what else is done. Dealer is askin $13,500

Swear ..... i was just searching the forum and google for fender options for the bike!!!
Ya i not diggin the sissy bar either.............. maybe a shorter detachable one for 2up on long rides
The 'attitude stick' sissy bar is hit or miss ... a lot of guys love 'em ... would sure be great for securing a sea-bag for a road trip (or whatever kind of back pack you use) ....
I was going to comment that the wheels cost a pretty penny (probably not less than $1K and maybe twice that) ... the belt drive was another grand easily ....
Has an S&S air cleaner ... if it has an S&S carb, you can bet it has some additional motor work ... maybe hot cams or even a 95" big bore kit ... which would cost $2-3K depending on where the parts came from and who did it .... They don't give away the V&H big radius pipes, either ....
Has a very finished look ... all of the black powder coat ties in very well ... the apes are pretty cool (again, if you're into that kind of thing) ....
I'd say if it has low miles you would not be getting screwed if you gave up to $11K out the door ... would concur with the others who are saying low-ball at around $9K and negotiate from there ....
IMO, I would take some time tonight to read about the changes HD made in 06. Pretty significant. I think it will help validate your decision, which ever one you decide.
This is a great time of year to buy, I paid 12K for my 07 roadking-less than 5k miles last year ($300 over trade in at the time). New inventory was coming in and they needed cash...I wanted 07 because of some factory upgrades.
That is killer bike, but sounds like way too much. Economy sucks and there are good deals to be had.
