has anyone noticed any difference on gas with ethanol

I haven't found really any mileage changes with ethanol gas. There are a few stations around that sell gas without any ethanol but I really haven't noticed any difference between the 2. But then again when I'm out enjoying myself on the bike the last thing I'm worried about is if I'm getting 45miles to the gallon or 44!

Actually do some research on this product. Seems to work for me here in Florida with the 10% blend. I also use it in my generator during Hurricane season. It claims to help the alcohol to better blend with the gasoline getting a better burn. 1 oz threats 6 gallons, I have four 1 oz containers for tripping that I fill with a larger less expensive bottle. Question is, now they are talking about E15 and my 2011 according to the owners manual will not apparently handle it.

My gas milage is always lower in winter....don't know if that's due to winter gas or longer warm ups with the enrichener. I ride all year 'round commuting here in NC. Winter 42, Summer, 45

I don't want to see E-15 either, but we may already be there and beyond that. I know someone who is a factory service rep for VW. They have been looking into customer complaints about how their cars run. He says that after looking at the tuning specs and finding no problems, VW tested the gas used and found ethanol in the gas around the 20% level, some even higher. They informed their customers to use different gas. I could not find out what companies that were the problem.
We were on a 300 mile day ride here in AZ about a month ago. Everyone's bikes were running great. We stopped to gas up and my budy mistakenly filled up with Ethanol. We left and his Street Glide instantly ran horribly the rest of the day. Not talking just popping here. I mean it was stalling out on accel, coughing really badly, cutting out, would not idle correctly, running horribly.
He drained the gas the next day and it was fine after a few flush miles.
