LOL, yes I will. Listen dude, do you even know what rake and trail are. Cause it sounds like you don't. Harley doesn't add raked trees cause thats the easy way to make their idea of a chopper. They do it because they have a specific idea of what the trail figures on a Dyna should be. So instead of just bumping the fork angle out to 34 degrees and having more inches of trail than wanted, they bump it out to 32 (which adds some trail), then puts 2 degree trees on to get the forks out to 34 degrees, but knocks some of the unwanted trail out to wind up back in the zone they feel is safe. I mean seriously, did you ever see one of those custom 100K choppers with raked trees. Do you really think its because the builder was stoopid and missed the mark when building the forks!! No, he's using the tree's just like Harley does to bring the trail numbers back in line. And FU too....
Here's some facts in the below quote, I don't have info on the 2005 and earlier, and the new 2010 and up Wide Glide.
You can also look at the side view of any bike with the front wheel straight and see the rake between the fork tubes and the frame neck (If there not parallel to each other then you have raked triple trees. )

All I can say is I called two dealers and I was told no rake in the trees at least not on my 02. I know how to tell if I have raked trees I was just verifying it. I won't make that mistake again on here. I used to be in the touring forums and there the guys were helpful. Not a bunch of know-it-alls. They could admit a mistake. So come on jump on me some more. I love to get you guys fired up so bring it on. Lets see who still thinks that's 2 dealers and my indy are wrong. I will let you know when I get my new **** on the bike in the next 5 or 6 weeks. It will be a totally custom ride when it is done. And I guess at this point if I understand you I might just have a superglide with a wideglide front end since I am ordering a ZERO degree rake front end.

Ok I called my indy who worked as a harley mech for many years. I asked him if the stock trees have any rake in them and he said Harley does not make any trees with any rake in them. All the rake in my wideglide is in the neck of the frame. Which is part of what makes it a wideglide. This is all I can say on the subject but I do trust my indy. Since I am about to dump a ton of money on a new front end I better since the new front end will be zero degree trees and stock length forks. I am also adding a new headlight and new bars. I am putting drag bars with the turn signals frenched into them.

But If I am wrong on my bike I will say so.

You are wrong.....your dealer is wrong....your indy is wrong.....the rake in the trees is visible with the naked eye on your WG.....you just dont know what you are looking at or for......and why would you have to verify anything here that your dealer and indy told you....they are ALWAYS right! You will learn the hard way.....

Here is my EXPERT Advice as Admin on HDF. If you don't want answer then don't ask the ****ing members a question. By the way, your dealer and Indy are both wrong but we've never seen a Harley Dealership make a mistake before so we'll just let it go at that. Maybe you and your Dealer/Indy should start your own forum!
