Default Floor boards on a streebob

I remember seeing somewhere here a dyna with floor boards. I had a road king before the streetbob and liked the boards heaps, now I have mid controls with adjustable front pegs but would like to know if it is possible to put boards on a streetbob?

I don't know what year your SB is, but the Wyatt 27-0920 footboards available from V-Twing Mfg will probably fit. I have them on my bike:

Then they'll work. They'll fit any Dyna with mid-controls, '96 to current (they show up to '09, but they apparently haven't updated their literature).

On some models not originally equipped with mid-controls, like the FXDWG, the exhaust system may block the right-side mid-control mounting pad, which is one of the mounting points for the footboards.

How do you like that setup, thinking about putting those on my Low Rider.

Do a search for HemiOrange of go to his profile. He has a Dyna with floorboards if you want to see how they look.

Haven't been able to ride it. I put them on just before Christmas. Cold, snow, ice and mud on my road since then. Good quality stuff though, and they definitely look good.

Another possibility is to use Softail floorboards ... a little more involved ... but, not that difficult if you follow the gouge ....

A link to my photos and 'write up' or 'how to' is here ....

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...na-photos.html

There are several of us who have gone that route ... and as I am aware, all are very satisfied ....

A couple of differences are that I think the Softail floorboards are slightly lower ... I've heard the comment that the Wyatt Gattling floorboards raise your feet up a little .... [BTW - the Wyatt Gattling are almost identical to the old FXDP Dyna Police floorboards that were discontinued after 2004 ... just modified slightly to fit the newer bikes ....]

Also, the Softail floorboards are (or can be made to fit) a little further forward than the Wyatt Gattling/FXDP boards ....

What I really like about mine is that they look like they belong on the bike ... not a 'solution' you came up with to mount on the peg .... (Although, I feel the same way about the Wyatt Gattling/FXDP, too ... i.e. look like they belong ....)

I've had mine for about 4 years now ... work like a champ ....
