Breather question
So my wife got a roland sands air cleaner for her bike and when I was putting it on the directions did not show a gasket between the intake and the backing plate of her new breather.... Doesnt sound right to me, I would think it needs a gasket but in the directions and diagram it makes no mention of one.... Any thoughts???
There is a gasket, or at the very least, should be. The difference, however, may be only slight and if you tighten to manufacturer specifications, then the gasket is superfluous. I would recommend getting one if for nothing else than piece of mind as you would not want unfiltered air entering into your bikes respiratory system.
