Its about time for another new shoe on the back. Running a 180 Dunlop. Didnt last long back there and they are real pricey compared to the night dragon...wondering if anyone is running the Pirelli 180 or if there are any opinions.

EasyMoney,
I have the SE 180. I have to tell you that most every thread about the Pirelli mentions that it doesnt fill the rear fender like the SE does. If that's important to you then be warned. I have had pirelli's on other bikes and have nothing but good things to say about them. But for me, I put a 180 on the bike to FILL out that rear...And the SE 180 although pricey looks the best between the two.
btw...how many miles did you get out of your SE 180?
I have the Pirelli and like the way it handles and sticks to the ground. that being said, there's about 1/2" to 1" on either side of the tire that I will never be able to use due the curvature of the tire. A friend of mine has a SB with a SE180 on it and putting the bikes side by side, his tire just fills out the fender better.
I know it's a different bike and tire size but the Night Dragon is the smoothest tire i have had on the bike... it's my 8th ot 9th tire in 3 years. It may be the dyna Beads but not sure...mileage sucks but smoothest.
I like the stock tires that came on the 2010 SB. There are the michellen/harley tires. I have almost 7000 miles on them and have about 7000 more left. Oh, Hey easymoney, I was an 0341 from 96-00.
I put the night dragons on front and back (180 rear) a few months ago and they are great, love them.
I've had 'em on my bike for about a year now with a bit over 5200 miles. The tread wear is still good and the grip/ride is great. They are a bit taller profile and will raise the bike 1/4" to maybe 1/2" compared to the Dunlops.
I'm runnin' 40 cold psi front and 45 cold psi rear and the tread wear is even on both tires.
I'll most likely purchase these tires again...very happy with 'em.
