I just finished doing the 30 t trans pulley swap...i had a socket built to remove the 2 1/4 nut with the help of forum member monkeybutt ....Anyway i am willing to let anybody that needs it borrow it if they pay shipping ....just pm me and let me know.
i didnt really take any pics ..but as others have said it make all gears much more usable...very good mod ...The hardest part of the install was getting the big a$$ nut off. i used a 125 psi compressor and an inch drive impact wrench (after trying just about everything else) but the job is not too bad at all with a manual......
did you have the pully locking tool? or were you able to get it of with just an impact? are the threads normal or reverse? sorry for all the questions but im fixing to do this mod myself
I have done 3 of these so far. There is a procedure and pics in the TriGlide sticky section for this mod. The TG uses the same parts as the Dyna.
IMO an impact wrench is not a good idea but its whatever works for you. We have been using a large pipe wrench with cheater bar on the 2 1/4" socket to easialy get the nut off and back on.Oh ya, use the pulley locking block,it takes all the strain off the tranny.
Also the 30Tooth pulley for the "11 TriGlide is direct fit for any of the 96" bikes with 6 speed trans. and cost is around $65.

i didnt use the locking tool.. only held down the rear brake the sprocket nut is regular right handed its printed on the sprocket itself ...the nut on the clutch is the one that is left handed ....
