Default turn single wires

Would like to know where to buy three conductor wires for dyna wideglide 2006.
The person that had bike before me relocated the turn singles from handle bars to forks.
Now I want to put the turn singles back up on handle bars. I think it looks better there.
My problem is I need longer wires. It looks like there are three wires in side the plastic sheathing. I would like to put them inside the bars but that looks like it would be really hard to do. There are 18" apes on the bike.
I tryed auto parts stores all they have is single wires, I need three wire inside a sheath or plastic conduit.

Thanks

Don't think you'll find it inside the sheathing like it comes stock (though that would be nice). Did they cut the wires or just bundle up the excess inside the frame or something?

If they didn't cut the wires you're in luck. If you have 18" apes you can get (and would need anyway) extensions that will plug in between your stock harness and the stock indicator wiring. And actually, if you're running all your wires through your bars it's not that difficult if you have a service manual, can read wiring diagrams well, and have a little patience.

Yea with 18" apes you will need extensions of some length as prevously said.
I don't know how much the kits are but if they don't offer OEM color matching wires I would just by the same gauge wire at the auto store or Lowes. I think turn wires are 18 gauge. If possible get 3 differnt colors OR mark them with colored paint at the ends. Normally the front sigs have a black (a brown or purple, depending right or left) and blue.

Then solder or crimp and heat shrink them.

I don't know about the Wide Glide but the Street Bob's have an outside nylon mesh sheathing that the wires go into. The OEM mini apes have little holes where the sheathing is snapped tied to the bars.

You are the exact opposite of me. I took mine off the bars and put them on the forks. Just didn't like the missle launcher look on the bars, especially with apes. But each person has different tastes that's what makes the world go round.

The wires in the loom definately are this way but I think the wires going from the connectors to the lights themselves are black (ground), purple (turn signal), and blue (running lights). They don't use seperate colors for the left and right signals themselves so the units are interchangeable between left and right.

I only mention this so if you decide to get wire in different colors you can match the factory wiring to the lights. Also, if you decide to run the wires through the bars, keep in mind the connectors are different colors depending on which side they go to...I'm not 100% sure but I want to say Black is for the right and Gray is for the left. Don't take my word for that one though.

You are correct, they are that way in the harness only but going from the Harness AMP connector to the sigs they are all purple on the middle wire (on mine anyhow). And this even though the wiring diagram says same as harness.
And on mine the white AMPs were left and the Black AMPs were right.
Good catch.
