I'd run like hell from anybody that said they needed my bike on the Dyno for 4 hours! Dynoing a bike is just short of the most abusive thing you can do to a motor but for 4 F'ing hours its just madness.
What EFI tuner are you using? If you have a PowerCommander, PowerVision, or TTS there is probably already a map that can get you real close, and with an Autotune function you can dial it in without ever having to suffer the abuse of a dyno tune.
I just put in a TW-555 and adjustable pushrods on top of my stage 1 setup and it was not difficult at all. If you are the slightest bit mechanically inclined you could save yourself all of the labor cost, and have the satisfaction of knowing that no shortcuts were taken and that the job was done correctly. The service manual is an excellent resource, as are the walk-through threads here on the forum. I only have about 100 miles on the new cams, but so far I love the extra punch in mid-range torque.
I have a PCV on mine, I went back to the dealership today on a ride and told them I would do it but I wanted to load a map in it which I will get from fuel moto and see how it runs after that. They agreed and said if it doesnt run like I think it should bring it in and pay for 1 hour of dyno time so they can check the EGT's and make a few small adjustments if need be. I think, well I know they quote the 4 hours in regards to making more money but I just played hardball with them and got the price down to about $830.00 OTD.
I had V&H short shots, big sucker ac and the pcv installed on my bike with one of those ready made maps and my bike runs great. Never had it on the dyno. I was going to take it for the dyno run but the owner of the shop even said why bother if your happy with the way it runs.

That about what I paid for my se204 cams in my Night Train. Got 84 HP and 103 Ftlbs of torque. Running a Thunderheader, thundermax auto tune, and SE Heavy Breather. Here's the dyno sheet.

That's good numbers for sure... I'm curious why the blue AFR line is closer to 14:1. The red AFR line was closer, before the cams installed if i follow the dates and notes in the footer. There is probably a little more there is you lower the AFR and let the autotune dial in...
That was the first run on the dyno after the bike ran for 15 minutes to finish burning in the high temp powder on the exhaust. At that point it only had 15 miles on the new cams and I didn't have the Tmax accept the new offsets for the cam change. I will put a hundred or so miles on it and then see what the Tmax is asking for. Hopefully the AFR will stabilize to the old setting after a few tuning sessions.
