There just had to get that off of my chest. After much consideration I decided to trade in the HOT ROD DYNA and get me a BAGGER, I looked at many and decided on the 2011 FLTRX in Sedona Orange with the 103 engine. I want to thank all of those here that have offered help or suggestions. From the beginning when I the Dyan about the most I could ride with out it making my back hurt (to the point I could not walk) was about 100-150 miles, and those numbers decreased with every trip. I bought and installed several different seats and none of them seemed to help, it really needed new bars, BUT being the Screamin Eagle everything was a$$backwards (and if I needed parts most people did not know if the part they had for a FXD would fit the FXDSE), I just got tired of riding in pain every time I pulled the bike out. See y'all when (or IF) you make the switch.
Congrats on the new Bike, Post up some reports on the RG Custom What do you think of it. How does the fairing deal with wind ? What do you think of the 103.. Can you hear the radio at hwy speed ?

From what I can tell (only rode about 50 miles today) the bike is 1,000 times better than the bike I had as far as the ride comfort goes, the fairing is great, (there's no windshield, only a small visor) handles like a dream (still getting use to having floorboards) I am almost deaf (or so they tell me every year on my audio-metric exam) BUT I can still hear the radio going down the highway (but it still has stock pipes, but probably not for long) as far as the 103, I did not really test it today with it being new, but it will be on a dyno before and after any mods to the performance side of it.
If your gonna replace a Dyna with another motorcycle, you can't really do better than that one.
Thanks, PLUS I got this one with one of those special financing deals, I put 100% down and got no payments. WE (me and the better half) were trying to figure out what to pay off, my bike or her car, and trading the bike in and paying the new one off saved us the most money per month, so that is the route we took.
