It should be in your owners manuel.... I'm assuming you have a 96" engine?

You sure it's in the owners manual?...I haven't looked in a while. But from what I can recollect, Harley only list the torque. I may be wrong though.

Harley-Davidson does not list horsepower figures anywhere.

Default HP

Harley lists the 96" at 92ft lbs of torque but I believe that nvsteve is closer to the truth at 66hp/80tq.

Keep in mind manufacturers list torque and HP numbers at the crankshaft. Magazines and other "review" kind of sites use wheel horsepower from a chassis dyno instead. Generally, with cars, there is a 15-20% Horsepower loss through the drivetrain and thus wheel horsepower is always less than crank horsepower. 80 ft/lbs of torque on a wheel dyno would represent a 13% powertrain loss on an engine producing 92 ft/lbs at the crank.

Actually they do in the P&A book. They even show rear wheel HP and TQ but I'm nost sure of the accuracy.

You really don't want to know. The numbers are pathetic for a 96" motor. Maybe 80TQ and 60HP. Harley has the worst stock power in the industry. They should be putting out at least 90/90. My tube frame Buell w/ a 1200 HD motor puts out 100/100 stock. I sure feel the loss of power on my DF. Then again, if they made it right from the start, we wouldn't be spending all this extra money for upgrades. HD does this on purpose. They dial down the fuel and air so the bike barely runs. You would think for 20 grand, decent power would come with i

My guess even if they came 100/100 stock we would still be wanting more power. I know I would
