Default installing Fuelpak on 07 Dyna Pics

Finally got the fuelpak installed where I think it will be dry and safe.
Took many tries and I almost gave up but it can be done but takes a great deal
of patience.

Works VERY WELL and I am pleased with the performance.

I am hoping these pics may help someone else with the chore

Installing my PC3 on my 07 Bob was a nightmare...getting it all back in. I'm happy with the performance so far, hope to never have to take the damn thing out again.

WillieC,

Thank you, I fitted mine in exactly the same place on my 06, bob, like you say it's very tight in places but it's good to see pic's just to ensure its all ok.
Mine has been on for about 3 months (1500 miles) now and I am really pleased with the performance and sound, the only problem is I test rode the 07 ,96" bob ,and now cant decide whether to part ex and lose a whole load of money or go for the new model.
Do you think your 07 is really that much better than the 06 ?

I love this site,

Nigel

I really like your bob. I love the tall sissy bar, and the fatboy headlight! I am looking for a fatboy or an 06-07 springer headlight. I like the dash too.Where are your indicator lights? I would love that dash on mine with the wrinkle black paint. Sweet ride! Good job on the install!

My 07 is faster than my 06 Bob especially in 3rd and up gears. It also is nicer
in 6th gear I can shift into 6th at 55mph. I like the 6th gear indicator and a few other
things. But I would not trade an 06 on an 07 unless you get an exceptional trade in
or are having problems.

Thanx for posting this info and pics WillieC. What mods have you done to the engine and what tune number/code are you running on the Fuelpak. I have changed mufflers, fitted the SE airfilter kit and disabled the back pipe "valve". I am noticing a pop or cackle on de-celleration, thinking the Fuelpak or PC3 might fix this. I sure do like my 07 bob as well.

I made a clamp to hold the one I took out of the console, drilled and tapped the handlebar clamp then
mounted them there. It is an 07 but I am using the one with bulbs not the LEDS that came with it.
Here are two pics that are not that great but will give you an idea.
I do have a console in wrinkle black as well ans I had it on for awhile but went back to the crome one.

I have the Alren Ness Big Sucker, V&H HS Slipons with quiet baffles and the FuelPak running their FP-0602 MAP
I have not disabled the backpipe valve.

I like the fuelpak, no problems and the engine runs cooler. I would recommend it.

Has anybody fitted the Fuelpak to a bike with the alarm fitted? The alarm module sits right where V&H say you should position the black and grey connectors once plugged together. There's an installation video on their site that shows how to install the Fuelpak but the bike they show has no alarm module, and the commentary on the video just says "If you have the alarm fitted you'll have to move it to the spine". Having looked at it from most angles I can't even see how to detach the alarm module let alone reposition it. Without removing and repositioning it I don't see how the Fuelpak harness will be long enough.
