I have seen them as low as 79.00 on e-Bay, nothing less than 100 lately. Way over priced if you ask me, but heated grips are no less and grips wear out.

For the cost and ease of installation I think heated gloves are a better way to go. I just installed a set for someone else and I thought it was a pain, of course it was internal wiring in 14" Carlini flying apes which are fun to start with.

Good product. Fishing the bars requires patience and some skill. You can download instalation instructions from their web site to see what your getting into. About a 3 hr job to install. Don't rush.

Going to do my install this weekend. I have a new set of bars (I spilled last season in the rain). So I figure since the new bars are going on I might as well install for those chilly morning starts.

I lke the idea, but it seems like they would be a pita having to remember to un hook yourself before you get off the bike, etc? Wouldn't you have wire your jacket/sleeves?

Actually once you do it a few times it is no big deal. I just run the wire between my liner and jacket.

So you run a harness with a connector to each sleeve with one at the base of your jacket, how did you set it up?
What do you recommendation as a good glove to buy?
Thanks

Gerber Microwire gloves, very even heating and very comfortable.
The gloves come with everything you need to connect to the battery, but I already had a plug on the bike, so I just put a plug on the end of the wires that came with the gloves to plug into what I had.
The harness it comes with will fit most people just fine, I added a few inches due to my monkey arms.
I am going to change things around a little before next winter, the plug I had is not as convenient as I would like for the harness, I set it up originally for my tourpak setup.

Be very careful not to crimp the wires... I speak from experience.

I had the Heat Demons on my bike last year, but switched to heated gloves and removed the Heat Demons. When it was cold enough to use them, the palms of my hands were warm, but nothing else was.

Installed my heat demons but the don't get hot. I have power and checked all my connections. I can cycle thru the 4 temp settings but I can't feel any heat. I ran them for about 30 minutes with no luck. Any suggestions?
