I would double and triple check the connections and proper wiring, did you use the crimp connectors they supplied? There maybe a open connection at one of those?

I did use their connections. If I can't get them working properly I'm gonna go back and solder and heat shrink them. I just gotta get that grip off again.

Don't put the grips on before you test...The connectors they provide are easy to screw up, Solder them if you can.

The gloves come with everything you need to connect to the battery, but I already had a plug on the bike, so I just put a plug on the end of the wires that came with the gloves to plug into what I had.
The harness it comes with will fit most people just fine, I added a few inches due to my monkey arms.
I am going to change things around a little before next winter, the plug I had is not as convenient as I would like for the harness, I set it up originally for my tourpak setup.
Wow, pricing out the gloves and a heat controller from several different makers and you are talking double the cost of the Heat Demons, not sure it is a better option?
I also read where most who use the Heat Demons say they keep their entire hand warm, kind of depends on the glove you are using
.

You really do not need the t-stat, if it is cold enough to need heated gloves, they do not overheat my hands.
Just the installation time difference makes it worthwhile in my book, the even comfortable heating is by FAR better than any heated grip will ever be.
There is NO way Heat Demons can compare comfort wise to heated gloves.

I used a couple of different versions of Gerbing gloves over several years, but have not needed them since I got the heated grips on my Limited. Even with the internal wires in the Gerbing jacket, the gloves were a royal PITA.

The heated grips keep my hands warm, wearing Churchill gloves, down below freezing. Even running them on "3" is too hot most of the time. The heat seems to fill the gloves. I just need to remember to keep my thumbs in light contact with the grips.

Gonna check into the Heat Demons for my bride's Low Rider. Even though she never rides below 40 deg or so, her hands are always cold. No way she'd ever mess with the wires.

I'll probably pass the Gerbings down to my son.

No doubt heated grips work much better with a batwing blocking the wind for you.

Through my search on the Heat Demons, those who say they do not keep your hands warm are by far a small minority. Most say a decent insulated glove will keep the heat circulating around your hand. I am think of installing the new "get a grip" grips and install the Heat Demons or just install the H-D nostalgic heated grips, pretty much the same price. The only thing is the HD website says they are not compatible with internally wired bars? Looking at the instructions I don't see why, except for the left side wiring that you hook to power and ground and I think I can work around that by notching the switch housing. Thoughts.
