The bolt to fasten my seat atop the rear fender of my 05 FXDI will no longer stay fastened. Even with liberal amounts of loctite. I've purchased new bolts from the dealer. Still no luck. I guess the threads have been stripped out in the well were the bolt is supposed to be seated. Any options, quick fixes, or warnings? Thanks in advance.
Unless I am mistaken, the bolt on your bike just screws into a receiver in the fender. You can get another receiver for only $5 or so. Had to get one myself when I did a 2up seat. Easy fix.
I tried to post something fairly sarcastic but decided against it.
You may want to pay attention to how you install the new bolts next time. If it's all stripped, chances are you've been screwing the bolt incorrectly for some time.

I fed a cord from the topside of the fender down, slipped the cord through the fender nut and made a "stop-knot" , pulled the cord up into the fender and slipped the clip on to the nut.
You could also use a tie-wrap: slide the nut onto the tie-wrap..then feed the tie wrap up along the rear tire into the fender hole and slip the clip onto the nut...
Thanks every one! Just what I needed to hear. Special thanks to Longhair for showing restraint against sarcasm and still offering some preventive maintainence advice.
