Default How are you lifting your 06 Dyna?

I own a Sears motorcycle jack that I have used on my 85 Iron head Sporty & 93 Flhtc with no problems but I can not use it to lift my 06 Dyna due to the uneven lower frame! So what are you guys using to get your Dyna off the ground?

how uneven is it? can you shim one side with something soft to not scratch the frame like carpet.. i use old peices of square carpet that we got from an old demo show, works awesome since its soft and flexes, while the jack holds the weight sturdy

+1 do that. SC I am doing mine this Summer. I think you should seriously look at a patent on that style jack. To the OP, harley makes plastic jack adapters that fit on the frame but the red sears jack modification is way better.

I bought the H-D adapters for my Sears red jack. They cost roughly $20.

Those adapters are the anti-christ.

Plus, the jack mod costs about half that.

I really dislike motorcycle jacks. I usually use a harbor freight engine lift and lift the bike by the shockmounts. Done it for years on various Dynas and Sporties.
