can someone tell me what this is all about do you adjust them after install or only at install? seems like if they are adjustable then they should be better no?
Called Woods to get advice on pushrods since I'm going to install 555's.
He strongly advised against using the stock pushrods and told me to use adjustables. I have no problem taking the top end off, but when the manufacturer insists on using a certain type of rod (any adjustable not stock) i tend to listen.

They are adjusted at install. Should be set them and leave them. I don't know what the mechanic was referring to, whether it was outright breaking or just the locking nut coming loose and the rod falling out of adjustment.
