I'm planning on buying road 6 8" apehangers, your bike is spectacular!
Did you have to change your stock settings cables or relocate them in some way?
If you did buy new cables what length are they?
Cheers!

x2! I want to get the R6C 8" for my 11' Wide Glide. I am going to Myrtle Beach tomorrow so hopefully I see a wide glide with these on them.
I want my hand position to lifted and back from where the stock bars have them right now.
I put a set of R6C 8" Mini Apes on my 98 SuperGlide (narrow front end, thus narrow bar set) a couple weeks ago. I completed a two week test ride session as of today and have decided that I like them and will be keeping them, time to cut the wiring looms for the controls so I can route the wires inside the bars for internal wiring. They are sweet bars, I was able to use them perfectly with the 4" pull back risers that were in use with the previously installed set of drag bars.
Also, I didnt have to change any cables (thankfully). I did, however, have to reroute the throttle and idle cables to the outside of the fork from its itside position and everything else was long enough. I would through some pics up of the job, but I changed computers during the process and have seemed to have misplaced the pics in the process.
