Default Dumb service interval question...

The bike needs a service every 5,000 miles for health and warranty. If it had its first service at 1,000 miles then is the next service due at 5,000 or 6,000 miles?

Update...Just did what I should have done before posting and read the owner's manual. Says, 1000, 5000, 10000 miles etc. So the interval between 1st and 2nd service is 4000 miles.

That is right, the first one is so they can see if there are any defects and the second to flush the system of any particles the break-in period produces.
