i found a 47 knuckle/shovel chop. It looks great and runs good. Has a longer springer front end, hard tail frame, kick start only. They put the shovel heads and jugs on it. Its a nice looking bike and I love old school bikes but i also have a 2010 wide glide thats not broke in yet. Should i spend the money on the knuckle or just keep it for the wg upgrades?
Yeah...I think it all depends on your financial status. If you can afford to buy and insure them both comfortably, then sure. But if all you have is enough money for one or the other, then I'd mod the WG and make it yours.
If the decision is between buying the '47 or mods for the 2010 WG, and you can only choose one or the other, I'd go for the '47 if you really like it.
The stock WG rides fine and you can always do the mods when you have the money, but that particular '47 may not be around to buy later on if you pass on it now.
