Default Need a little help with pipe identification
Does anyone know what type of pipes these may be?
they were on the bike when I bought it and I would like to know

The previous owner removed the baffles and I need to get a set.....preferably the type that were originally in them (if any)

this is a 99 model FXDWG,

Looks like regular old drag pipes to me 1.75 or 2 inch, try hp plus baffles.

I think hd made some flame heat shields Luke those, maybe factory head pipes with slip ons, can't really tell if they are one piece drag pipes or mufflers

streetbobkid, they are one piece pipes with the flame covers. I believe the outer diameter is 1.75 inches. Not sure if some slip ons would work or if I need to go the baffle route

Check out BCT baffles. You probably can get a set that will work for you there.

installed mine about a week ago.

they're f*cking awesome.

measure the inside diameter of your pipe, call up bct, and order.

Those pipes do look like plain ole drag pipes. I'm sure they sound great. I'd love to run a set of drag pipes but not sure how that would affect the fuel injection on my '07.
