I went with the PM Contour's from Performance Machine - having large hands I liked the comfort of the XL's they make - also the piece that the wires hook into is made of metal - I have seen some people here have some issues with the plastic piece breaking like on some of the Kury's

I'm going with the HD Get-A-Grips. I like the fact that the left grip isn't glued on, if I decide to change bars, I don't have to buy new grips. I presently have the Nostalgic Grips. They are to hard of a rubber.

I do not like anything that has chrome/metal on the grips outside of the end caps.
I am using the HD soft grips and love em.

I would check other bikes to see if the grips are what you want.
Everyone's hands are different.
