Thinking about a 2-1 Exhaust
I've been thinking about a 2-1 exhaust for my 05 FXDX. The motor is a stock 88 with carb rejetted, high flow air cleaner and I'm running Rush slip ons with 2.25 baffles.
Do the 2-1 exhaust systems make better power?
What about fuel economy?
I kinda like the look of the black Thunder Header but I read the quality is not as good as the earlier ones.
What 2-1 exhaust are you running and how do you like it?

T-header is always a good bet..but you are exactly right about the quality. I love mine but will be on the lookout for another. Either a Vance and Hines Comp or a Bassani. Would love an older V&H Pro-Pipe if I could find one. Basically I like any 2-1 that doesn't run all the way back past the axle nut. Long canisters look like **** to me..Not baseing any of this on #'s just looks.
Equal length head pipes into a collector . Makes great low end power(torque) with a V-twin . Looks are as always....subject to the beer holder 
. I had a Thunderheader and loved it . Bassani, Hacker, RB Racing, are some other good ones , and the Vance and Hines are supposed to be good too .
