When I installed the thundermax ecm, I did the automap configuration and wrote the adjusted map to the ecm. After 400 miles I linked and saved the learned mapp to my computer. Do I need to write that mapp back to the ecm?
I looked on page 114 and it is diagnostics and trouble shooting.
Thanks for the help,
Travis

look under the heading TMax Control Center in the program. The window on the left that opens will tell you how well tuned you are and it will probably ask that you automap it. What that does (I believe) is take all of the learned adjustments and averages them out into a new map.

I did not move any of the maps to points leaner than 14:1 (more like 13.9 max) ... and kind of pushed the point where the map transitioned to a richer fuel mix out (with respect to the throttle position) ... so, the effect is that at a given throttle position below around 50%, the AFRs are somewhat leaner ....

This did not show very much immediate effect to my MPG ... however, shortly thereafter, I installed Screamin Eagle MCR Performance Heads ... since installing the heads (and running about 500+ miles on Auto Tune) my fuel mileage has gone up to between 39 - 41 with a couple of 'trip' tank fills showing over 43 MPG ....
Tried this. I went on a ride today and got 49 MPG. It didn't have the same pickup so I think I will try something in the middle.

I never got that good of fuel mileage ... so, my adjustments must have been more modest ....

I'm away from home now ... but, if you'r interested I can get 'snapshots' of the adjusted curves I am using next week ....

If I lost any output, it was not enough to be noticable ....

Thanks, I found it on page 82 under, CLOSED LOOP MODULE SETTINGS
(Optional Settings for Auto-Tune Closed Loop), I went and checked I am using the newest manual from zippers site.
I put 250 miles on it yesterday, so I will adjust everything today. My speed was averaging around 80 MPH, and I got 40mpg. I do not think that is bad with a 95 inch, 5 speed.

Here is what mine look like above & below 2500 RPM. I went up 3 clicks from base above 2500 and up 5 clicks below 2500.
