Default T-Max mileage ?'s

What kind of mileage are you guys getting with your T-Max W/ AT? I getting anywhere from 32-38 mpg with stage 1 a/c & exhaust.

Does anyone know how to adjust for better mileage or for better performance?

How much do you tweak the curves or settings? Which ones and why?

Thanks

How does the bike run? That should be more important than mileage.
My mileage is about the same as yours and as long as it runs as strong as it does, I am happy with that.
You could change the target AFR to lean things out a bit, but if it is running strong and cool, why would you do that?

I am getting about the same, but it is my wrist causing the MPG. As the others have said, it runs awesome so I am happy with the mileage.

I was getting some pretty low gas mileage (around 34-35) and decided to try to improve it a little ... I took a look series of maps that depict AFR vs throttle position that shows the various curves over the RPM range ....

Then I went to the series of maps between about 700 - 2500 RPM and bumped them up / out as roughly illustrated below ... the blue curve would be the before AFR curve and the green arrows show the change to arrive at the after curve, in red ....

I did not move any of the maps to points leaner than 14:1 (more like 13.9 max) ... and kind of pushed the point where the map transitioned to a richer fuel mix out (with respect to the throttle position) ... so, the effect is that at a given throttle position below around 50%, the AFRs are somewhat leaner ....

This did not show very much immediate effect to my MPG ... however, shortly thereafter, I installed Screamin Eagle MCR Performance Heads ... since installing the heads (and running about 500+ miles on Auto Tune) my fuel mileage has gone up to between 39 - 41 with a couple of 'trip' tank fills showing over 43 MPG ....

Since we are already talking about the Thundermax, I have a question. I have autotune, when I installed it I did the initial setup. After 400 miles I saved my mapp, and updated the firmware.
Is there anything else I need to do?

There is nothing else you NEED to do as long as you are happy with the way she is running.
I have put about 1k on mine since installing, and that is all I have done.
