This might be a dumb question...Are the tanks from a super glide custom and a low rider the same? I am looking for a custom painted set rather than have my tins painted and spotted some from a 08 low rider just curios oh and my super glide is a 09..Any help would be great be for I drop some green
I am almost positive that the super glide custom/FXDC tank is wider and therefore different than the low rider tank. The fxdc has a fatbob tank and I think the LR came with a slightly skinnier tank, like one from a street bob.
I do think you could get away with mounting the the LR tank though, not sure, but you may want to ask that question as well. Dont take my word regarding mounting the LR tank on your FXDC, as iIam guessing here. Good luck.
They are not the same, but will bolt right up to the frame. You would need the SGC console though as they are not interchangeable without modification..
Any Dyna tank will bolt up, the difference will be the console mount.
Thanks for the replys guys. I am glad I asked! I have my console still but I think the wide tank is bitchin so I guess I will continue to hunt for a sgc tank and tins...
