Just got my Mustang Vintage Solo on that replaced the ugly old looking pillow seat. Here are the before and after shots. I think it looks and feels like a new bike. I love it. Got it from biker trends for $175 shipped. Had to wait awhile for it as they were out and Mustang had to literally make it just for me I was told. Next up will be a black denim paint job with night train tank emblems.
No offense, and I'm prolly going to be in the minority, but I liked the old seat better.
Just my opinion and you know just like ********, everyone has one - and they all stink. It's your bike and if you're happy that's all that matters. Glad you are getting it the way you want it.
Is that the standard Mustang solo seat, or the wide?
How comfy is it?
I ordered the Mustang Wide Touring seat, 2-up, and will also want to get a dedicated solo seat to replace the OEM when I'm riding solo. I like the looks of that one.
It is the 13.5 wide not the 15 which is their wide model. I love the seat. It's a tad firmer then the pillow but that was expected. Build quality is very nice. They make a nice seat that's for sure. Not sure what a stock 2011 HD wide glide seat feels like to compare it too sorry. I did have to bend up the rear chrome mounting tab to get it to lay right on the fender. Also drilled a hole for the nut.
