I agree with what partseater said it will fix your rake and trail, it's very quick and easy to try, stiffining the shocks should also work

Thanks everyone for the help. Pete, they way you described the feel and handling was like you were riding my bike for me only i couldn't describe it as well. I am hesitant to lower the front as i already drag my pipes and occasionally the passenger peg mount on the other side. But with lowering the front might that actually correct some of the dragging issues because it might even the angles and make the frame sit more horizontal with the swing arm? Or would it make the dragging worse because it lowered the front?

Yeah when I bought my bob, it wobbled in corners and at certain speeds so I just bought a set of Progressive rear shocks an 1" taller, no more wobble and it still rides smooth as glass after 44,000 miles!

Thats why you need to do the fork preload at the same time. The ride height will remain more constant, thus reducing the wacky rake/trail handling issues. Honestly it will probably drag less even with the forks lowered. You will see how much difference setting up the forks makes in the equation. Its only a hr or 2 job and the difference is amazing.
