You could also move two shocks inboard of the original mounts and fab a bracket on the swing arm he'll could even use bags instead of shocks with a little angle to them might have enough room to mount the compressor I like the idea and was thinking along the same recently but had not thought of extending the arm

I know of a dude running a stretched swingarm on a supercharged Road Glide. Pretty sick. I bet once finished that bike will look cool.

Hopefully you got motor to go along with that look. Otherwise.... ???

Right now its just a stock motor, but I have played with the gearing. I have 30t front pulley and will run a 68t rear when it is finally all together. Have ideas of bigger motor, but will most likely just do a 107" kit and head work.

I have decided to put my guns away and relent the decision to stick with the shock mount mistake.

I remember a member on here making mounts into the arms themselves. It seems he did it to lower the bike even more. I took my swingarm back to the machine shop and will have them place a cylinder into each side of the arm, drill and tap threads for a new shock mount.

later,
paul
