Default Torque specs for Slip-on Muffler clamps?

Anyone know the torque specs for the slip on muffler clamps.
I am trying out some new slip ons and would like to torque em properly.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if aftermarket is the same, but HD clamps are 45-60 ft-lbs.

No problem - let's hear about your experience with the slip-ons after you try them out, too!

You got it.
They should arrive within a week according to the shipper.

Fuel moto already provided me a map for my PCV, (I can't say enough good things about Fuel Moto).

Ordered some new/take off HD clamps from ebay as well.
Hoping the new pipes sound good!

Cheers,

Tom

I seem to recall that Rush recommends 60lbs with NEW clamps. Re-torque them after a few runs.

Always use new clamps - don't re-use.

they were still right on the money.

I ran slip-ons for a bit. The old style SEII (for offroad use only). I reused my muffler clamps and GASP! didn't use a torque wrench either. They never came loose or fell off until I loosened them. I ran them close to a year doing on average 700miles a week commuting back and forth to Columbia, SC on some darn nasty bumpy roads.
