Tool bag mount on lower frame

Does anyone mount tool bag on the lower part of the front frame? I mean below regulator?I'm going to put mine there but not sure about ground clearance.

I have had mine there for almost 4 years without any negative issues.

Thats were I had mine on my Dyna with no issues. I made a little bracket and mounted it using one of the motor mounts so it wouldnt rub anything.

On my WG I zip tied my bag to the left side swing arm, works/ looks great. But might get another for under the regulator, seen many with them so assume they work well...

Thats where I've had mine for a year. Out of the way, no clearance issues. IMO looks cleaner than on the forks. Mount it up and see.

I have one mounted at the bottom of my front bars below the regulator. it is a real thick bag and has a zipper flap then it is covered with the larger belt buckle type cover to keep out water

I keep my heavy tools in this bag since it is attached with a metal bracket.
No water problems, no clearance problems and really looks like it belongs there as far as I am concerned

Any suggestions on where to get and what to put in the bag? i'm looking at buying a bag and some necessary tools to keep with me when i ride since my saddle bags fell apart.
