Free license plate side mount
I decided to run just a solo seat today and hated how the license plate looked. I moved my plate off the rear fender and mounted it on the side of the bike using the original mounting hardware.
I took the bracket that holds the plate on and bent the top piece over at about 90 degrees. I made the hole in that piece just a touch bigger and mounted it to my belt cover.
Nothing super special but I like the looks and the price was right. I will probably have to come up with some kind of light one of these days but thats a back burner thing.

I mounted my side plate there too because I couldnt get it to mount on my swingarm due to my solo bag taking up space there. Wish I would have thought of using the old plate mount, could have saved myself some cash.
You can get powered license plate screws or a simple LED light that attaches with 2 sided tape. Follow link below for lighting options:
