Illumination for Laydown Plate?
With a new rear fender on order (courtesy of H_D), I'm thinking now is the time to get rid of the Streetbob's taillight and plate mount.
Looking at a curved, fender-hugging plate holder to cover the hole left in the fender. But I'll need an LED to light up the plate... any suggestions?

I'm with iDodgimus. Hogrida is the way to go. If your state says you must have light shining on the plate to pass inspection the link that SLV had will fill that requirement. It's what I had to do in SC before they dropped mandatory inspection. (they can still write a ticket but you would need to be a jerk to make them look that hard)

Hogrida sounds fine, but my fender won't have the 3-hole pattern, and instead, have the Streetbob's gaping factory fender hole. So I'll have to 'make a bracket, to install a bracket' ... which I'd rather not do.
