Default Rush slip on question for SuperGlide Custom

I have a 2011 Superglide Custom and would like to get some slip on mufflers. Has anyone used the Rush slip ons. If so, what baffle size did you get. Any special tuning required?

I put the 2.25 baffels on a 2008 with xied"s and a K&N stock filter and they sound very good, but also very loud, seeing as i go to work at 4 am I"m going to go down to a smaller baffel, rush told me the 1.75"s would let me sneek out in the morning but still bark when you get on the throttle. still running the stock tune from the factory, hope this helps a little

I also have a 2011 SGC. I am actually having them installed on 6/27. So, if you can wait a few days, I can give you a good idea of what they are like.

I have them and your neighbors won't hate you. You can install them yourself if you have half a brain.

Yes 1.75" baffle is the way to go. keeping the baffle on the smaller size is a plus to keep your strong low end. I sneak out every morning and try not to get my neighbors too pissed at me.
However when I'm on the highway it's another story.
No tune.

Thanks for the great input guys! Sounds like 1.75" is the way to go. I too need to be concerned about the neighbors but want a nice throaty sound on the road. The HD dealer I went to actually recommended them as well and said they are the WAY to go.

Thanks again.

I went with 2.00" baffles on my 08 and love'em. Theyre not as loud as vance radius pipes or long shots. Theyre not as quiet as some 2 to 1s. Nice sound.

I think it's all been said already, but I just picked my new bike up yesterday and the 1.75" sound wicked good..... nice little rumble at idle and sweet music at speed.
