Hemi- Which mini-floorboard are you running? I'm thinking about getting the Kury iso-wing.
They are JC Whitney's # CCT010306 and match all of my Kury's perfectly. They aren't listed to fit my bike, but they fit perfectly for $102 or whatever they might cost now.
I'm having similar problems at 5 7, posted something similar 30 minutes ago. Bike is an '03 Dyna Low Rider Anniversary.
What I'm thinking are a set of highway boards that fold up, ideally mounted so that they are just behind the pegs so that if my foot slipped back my heel would hit the boards, but even just a small set so I had two choices of position would be fine.
I figure then I won't take away from the simple nature of the bike and even if they stick out further I can fold them up around town to avoid scraping, which I seem to do enough with the current pegs already.
Although I see the kits I'd like to keep the forward pegs, I just want another option for the highway.
i'm almost 5'7" w/a 30" inseam, a reduced reach seat did it for me. i tried for a day or two w/original seat and it was ok for an hour or two but not any longer. i think the rr seat is more comfortable too.
I put the Reduced Reach forwards on my 07 FXDB. Brake pedal is a bit too close for my taste but the regular forwards would have given me bigger problems. I'm happy. 30" inseam.
