Mine is slow and it won't get much faster until I do heads, cams, bore and a 2 into 1.
Until then I'll just ride it with my V&H longshots and enjoy it for what it is A BIG OL HOG
I guess mine is slow to by some standards. But the way I look at it is its one heck of a lot faster than my Panhead, 1000 Sportster, Shovelhead, or Evo was so its good enough for me.
I have no idea. I'd have to find the dyno sheet (still have it somewhere). I got rid of the bike when I picked up the FXDF.
The fat bob has more hp than I expected but I kept my Triumph Speed Triple so that I can ride fast when I have the itch. I bought the Harley to slow me down and it does just that!

I know what you mean. The only Japanese bike I ever had was a GS1100, which was given to me by a friend when I had no transportation and no money. That thing was a hoot to ride! Fast, handled great, comfortable, and butt-ugly (by my biased standards).
I've never really felt the need for speed on two wheels, at least not beyond what a Harley will do. They're plenty fast for me.
