fatbob rear spring cover

Is it possible to to remove the chrome spring cover to expose the spring? i like the look of the spring?

You would need a hydraulic bench press in order to do it.

so once the cover is off, the springs could be put back on with the cover off? or are they just not made that way. In other words, will i need to buy different springs to get that look?

It is easy'r to just buy different shocks and just bolt them on. Although it is your time and money.

I'll trade you my uncovered Street Bob shocks for your covered Fat Bob. They are the same length.

i might just do that..i have a friend that is checking his garage for a set laying around. if he find those,then i will keep mine just in case i want to ever change back
