True if you leave it stock. Who would do that? The material is easy to cut down. With the clamps you can raise the shield 3 inches if needed.

over it but i should have mentioned im using a sundowner seat which helps and you can adjust a bit where you mount on the forks to see over or though it depending on what you want..

HD touring model great fit no docking hardware. works great I'll never get on the freeway or long trips without it. Always look over it
