Turn the ignition off. 1, it's twice as simple. lol

But seriously, the only time I've ever used a kill switch is when parking on a hill and for some reason have both feet on the ground and don't want to take my hand off the clutch or brake. As far as frying the electronics thing goes, these things have had kill switches since the beginning of time...

Yup it worked...... now how do I get the dent out of my wife's Tahoe?

I was told to put her in neutral, remove seat, disconnect battery and place in H-D battery carry case. Then, only then, hit kill switch, then ignition.
So, I don't need to carry around the battery? Something's wrong...

I usually just run it into a sturdy wall, if theres not one around just wrap a plastic bag around the air cleaner.

Thats how I have always done it ... the advantage is if your on a hill the bike wont roll away because its still in gear when you get off, it may fall over, but it wont roll away. ROLL TIDE.
