I own a 2002 FXDL with forward controls. Does anyone out the know if any body makes crash bars for my ride? I want to keep the forward controls and not go back to mids. Any help would be appreciated..

 

I've seen them somewhere... It's just that I have extended forwards, plus Posi-Track and low mounted oil cooler with fans behind it, a combination that just won't allow any crash bars to fit.

I'm sorry, but I lost my references to what you are looking for since I've given up hope for my situation. There were discussions on this forum in the past 5 months with a reply or two about crash bars to fit with forwards.

Rather than trying to sift through all of the search's false leads, try Googling it, it's way faster, just look for HD Forums as the source.

Consider this a bump. Maybe someone will chime in with the real answer.

 

Look at the kuryakyn mustache bar. Mounts up higher on frame. I like it on my 2009 fxdc.

 

You can chekout the Lindby bars. I have the Lindby Multibar that I use with forwards. http://www.lindbycustom.com/

Might get one on eBay cheaper.
