Your red covers cost me another 50 bucks on my paint job for the trunk and another 1/2 pint of paint. I love it though. I just tripped 8000 miles on mine. Lost another exhaust bolt Dealer replaced no problem. Still in love.
When I first saw the SB, I realized I'd spent 3 years building one from my FXDC. I like the concept and ergos but crap, I'm about there now and what's currently under my butt beats the heck out of new bike bucks. lol.

Just putting together parts for a detachable Tour Pak of my own. Wife says leave it black for now, but I DO think some redness is in its future.

I bought a 2012 Switchback in vivid black in late october 2011. After the required break in, I noticed that it has a vibration in the handle bars at 77 mph and gets worse the faster you go and at 85 mph its in the floorboards. I have talked to the dealer and corporate customer care and spent many hours of my own personal time at the dealer trying to fix this. I have removed the windshield on my own and it fixes the problem, but I bought it for the windshield. I also removed the big honking front fender (will be changing) and left the windshield on and it fixed it also. I am having HELL from corporate and the dealer, not returning calls etc. which for the amount of money I spent is pretty poor customer service. Anybody else having this problem with a Switchback? Please let me know!

Most who had vibe problem attributed it to the exhaust. Once they changed it out...it all went away... even just a slip on helped
My vibes went away when I loosened the muffler mounts underneath the muffler in the back and torqued them to 15 ft/lbs.. Also, screwed the the extension bolt in about 1 turn before torquing the nut. The vibration was so bad I didn't like riding the bike. Now, they just feel like a soft hum, 2800-3300 rpm and I love the bike; it made a huge difference. I called HD Corporate and they said wait until the 1000 mile service, but I couldn't stand the vibration.
Was at the dealership all day today and they said the factory techs knew of the vibe problem and had pictures of what to do to correct it. The dealership is going to grind down something on the motor mounts and install a "nightstick" exhaust all at no charge. Now l have to wait for the pipes to come in.
