yep got 4200 on mine , there warranty works great for most part , dealers can suck to deal with.. I have had some issues, all have been dealt with fairly and professionally.. finish is perfect on mine, its also not wobbly feeling, i do have some vibe issues, and some minor things we were waiting on parts for..
I've had vibe problems on mine since it was broke in last november. Found out yesterday (04MAY12) that it is a reoccuring problem and that they are going to alter the engine mounts and put a "nightstick" exhaust on and corporate techs say that should cure the vibes. This is under warranty and at NO CHARGE to me. I specifically asked this more than once. The bikes have a vibe problem from the factory, but they are taking care of it. As with any new model (bikes or cars) they work the unseen bugs out the first year or so. My vibes would start at 2800 rpm's or so in 5th and 6th gear.
I've got a 2008 nightster and I'm seriously thinking about trading it in on a Switchback. I mainly commute on my bike. I do about 65 miles round trip on my daily commute in the Seattle area. The nightster is great because it is small and I can whip in and out of tight traffic, but in the winter time it provides no protection from the elements and doing 80 on the freeway with no windshield can be brutal. Also I've still got the stock seat on it and it is simply not comfortable. I haven't changed the seat because I don't want to change the lines of the bike (stupid reason). I probably won't buy a new bike for at least a year because I just bought a new truck, but man I'm so tempted to go get a switchback.
Just brought a Switchback home today. Happy to say I didn't experience a single problem. It's not a Sportster but handling seems good for what it is. Brakes could be better but they're not bad.
I'm waiting for the turner to come in to do the stage 1. Kurt
Okay folks, went to the dealer today and they installed the nightstick and ground the hump out of the middle of the motor mounts as the factory bulletin he showed me with instructions in drawings and print said to do. The ride home was vibration free and the exhaust is louder (as it should be). They have a problem with the FLD and now they know how to fix it. I asked the service manager for a copy of the bulletin and the other paperwork and he said he would mail it to me. Right! Believe that when I see it. But now I can start to work modifying the bike. Did not want to before until the vibe was fixed because I knew they would say "no way, its been modified, not our problem".
My dealer is still debating if they are going to do anything. Do you know what date that bulletin was issued? They showed me a bulletin that said changing the muffler might fix it, but it didn't direct them to change it. That was dated may 16. The vibes on my bike are reduced if I loosen the bolts on the muffler. The bulletin claims the problem is with 103 motor on the dyna but is more pronounced on the switchback and the tech talked to the factory and they said you will always feel it in that rpm range.

Quite a deal you got there. Unfortunately I have already ordered V&H slip-on...bet they won't pay for it. Oh well, installed the Nightrider XiED today and will get the Stage 1 after the pipes are on. Hopefully there will be no more vibration.

Looks like you've got quite the dilemma on your hands. I vote new bike...just sayin
I've clocked up about 2000 Klm on my 2012 FLD and I gotta say its the best ride I have had. The only one that came close (only cos it was my first bike was a 76 FLH) but the braking on that was not good and it always had some electrical problem)
I bought my new Switchback in April of 2012 and my girlfriend got hers in August of 2012. Both are black. I've got about 7600 miles on mine and she has about 3600 on hers. Both have run flawlessly from day one. I have D&D Fatcat 2 in 1 exhaust system on mine, with a solo seat and a Stage 1 SE and new air filtration system. I've also put a solo seat and rear finder bib on mine. I put engine guards on both bikes and oil coolers on both bikes. My girlfriends, is still stock, other than the engine guard and oil cooler, but the next mod will be D&D Fatcat 2 into 1 for her bike too, along with the Stage 1 tuner.
Just made the "switch" yesterday from an 09 1200 XLC. I too have a vibrating issue more so after 3000 RPM. and its a 2014! you think they would have made the changes by now?
Other than that I am in love. Ride is great. Its classy looking and it has more than enough power. My OL loves the looks and says its a 100000 times better than the sportster for two up (obviously)...
heres a pic of me and my father in law(hes a hoot) before I rode it off the lot
