I went back and forth on them for awhile myself because they seemed to low on the harley site and I didn't want them catching in a turn. I found out from someone on this site that if you install the right on the left you can get them up higher so I bought them. (wanted to match the arms of the pegs with the frame)
I do use them a lot, mostly on the freeway. I had a sportster before the dyna with the peanut tank and those pegs were much more comfortable because of the skinny tank. If you get them, make sure you get the longer pegs. That's the only thing I don't like is they feel like they should come out a few more inches because of the tank. I think I will eventually play around with the adjustment. The way they are adjusted now, I can brake and downshift with my heal so thats a plus. There aren't many choices out there unless you install a protection bar which I just don't like the looks of.
For me I have to have an alternate foot position so I can change it up so these old legs don't cramp up, so it was a must have.
