Man, I'm thinking that would look sharp on my '07 Low Rider! Have been thinking about a solo saddle anyway and I love the retro look. Those of you who have this, how comfortable is it? I don't usually do more than a couple hundred miles a day. Thanks!
Michael
In June I rode mine from Louisiana to New Jersey without any problems, and I rode about 8 hrs a day. I stopped in Atlanta,Ga the first night, then Fayetteville,NC the second night and was in New Jersey (the shore points) on the third night.
They are a little stiff when first installed, takes about a 1,000 miles to break in the springs, the seat and foam are real comfortable.
Yes, SteveO, thanks! I don't find the stock seat "that" uncomfortable but really like the solo idea. And that seat sure looks great on your bike. I think that will be one of this winter's upgrades as I'm still recovering from buying the bike (and loving it--don't know why I went 20 odd years w/o a bike!).
Today I decided to start changing a few things on my bike:
Like adding the springs back onto the seat and removing the pillion pad seat. I plan on putting the fender rack were the pillion seat is/was, and possibly removing the backrest/sissy bar.
Other than the reinstalling of the seat springs the rest will be about form and function.
