lgnef - Does it make you feel like a big man to dis on a bike like that. Or are you just plain ignorant?
They are selling fast. Great bike. No more a ladies bike than any other.
FL fork, foot boards, air shocks, TC103, saddle bags (smaller than the big boys but no indentation for the shock makes up some room) and a quick release windshield.
What's not to like for a guy or gal?
When I took delivery of my 12 Night Rod Special, a couple in there 40's was taking delivery of a SB. They were both short and trim. He was about 5'6" and she was about 2" less. It looked great when they rode off.
How many swithback threads do we need thats what I would like to know. The bike is not for everyone those who do like and get one more power to ya lets move on from this bike already. Thread number 4 million and I am sure more to come unfortunately.

Harley CEO is doing an interview on CNBC right now and was talking about the new switchback. He said about the switchback, and I quote "we have geared the switchback convertible towards younger female riders"
There you go, straight from the horses mouth on CNBC.
... who watches CNBC ...? Who'd have 'thunk' younger female riders have such historic knowledge of the MoCo and such affinity towards an early Duo Glide throw-back model ...?

... remember the '09 Street Bob ... what a bunch of whiners ... all about the 'blonde' motor and transmission with the black cylinders and heads ... talk about a lot of 'hate and discontent' ... (that's the look I ultimately ended up doing with my motor) ....
... nothing like beating a dead horse, I suppose ...

i agree that the switchback will be a faster, better handling bike. i have owned both dyna's and an 08' flhx. after hitting a deer on the street glide i went back to the dyna. it's less comfy but still tour on it with bags and windshield. i would think that the sb would be a better choice for the ladies as it's lighter and easier to handle in the city. whether or not they actually buy one....we'll see i guess
