Although I am partial to the stock bags, if I were to go with leather bags, I'd probably go with Boss Bags' Springer Heritage reproduction bags (#37) ...
IIRC those bags are about as voluminous as there are after the standard Touring bags ...
I'd like to see how those look on a Dyna (in particular, a FL Dyna) ...
Todd, bossbags are good looking, no doubt. However, I'm not into all the fringe and concho look on that model you are suggesting. That one they have with the tooled lid is really nice, i think it was a 40 series? Also i talked with grants about his ironbags and he said he tried several mfgs. (including boss) and the ironbags were best overall quality in his opinion. So, I need to actually see both in person to decide. I'm glad you posted to me, your vision and mine for end look, is similar I think. Take care
I think that's about an 8 hour drive from where I live and I would consider going there for the free bags if I was interested in a bigger bag. But maybe I should since you're swapping yours to the bigger ones and there's so much talk about the Switchback bags being too small. I'm starting to get a little complex about them. Question: Do these little Switchback saddle bags make my **** look big?
LOL...Ce call them up and talk to Donna. Tell her i sent you. She is the one I've been discussing this with at ironbags and they are anxious to get rolling. Even if you didn't run them fulltime, it would be a very nice perk to have them don't you think? I mean with the weather issues you guys have to deal with, this could be productive downtime. Well, sure hope you do, they seem like good folks over there.

I'm not all that big on conchos and fringe, either ... you can get them without ... [don't get me wrong, that look is great on the right bike]

I do like the Ironbags Grants is sporting ...
OK, I see i needed to look further at the site. There are all kinds of the #37 model. My first search only showed the fringed one. I see now what you mean. Yep, very nice.
1HD1C, your bike is awesome, it's not a chicks bike, your bags are big enough to ride for weeks....Feel better now?
exactly the type of ignorant response i would expect from someone
with your obviously low IQ and your stupidity shines through with each and every comment you continue to make on the subject.

Actually I meant bitchy and winey....you started off with just the first but your need for the last word is really making the second part fit in right. Did the FLD jokes really make you like this? Kinda sad...for you I guess.
