My response when people try telling me to get a bagger:
"When I get old and need a Cadillac style bike"
Till then, I want no part of a windshield, fairing, floorboards. All I ever thought about in my youh was getting and old bagger or Police bike and stripping all that crap off of it to make the thing a REAL bikers ride.
I drive my Jeep Wrangler Soft Top with the 6 cylinder and 5 speed and the FXD. God help me when I decide I need a DeVille and an Ultra. TIme for a Retirement Home in Florida then.
I know what you mean. It is only some times. Most of the time everything feels rock solid. Kind of feels like a rear tire slip. But all in all I love the bike.
I tentatively voted for "hate the silver motor". On my second or third post on this forum I wrote something about not liking the way the silver motor looked and some guy got all offended and totally b1tched me out and ranked on me for having a black engine. He said something like "oooh! I should get a can of black spray paint so I can look cool!" I didn't post again for two weeks. At least that's how I remember it. I'm over it and I still don't like the silver motor.
